The secondary market

The Sorare secondary market is where cards change hands after the initial minting. The market is open and the price history is public. Most cards trade in two ways: by auction and by fixed price.

Auctions

Auctions run for a defined window. The highest bid at close wins the card. The platform charges a marketplace fee on the sale price. Confirm the latest fee schedule on the platform's official help center.

Buying cards

Set a maximum bid before you start. Place the opening bid if you want to enter early. Hold against snipers if your ceiling is well above the current bid. Walk away if the price exceeds your ceiling.

Selling cards

Set a reserve price that is at or slightly above recent comparable sales. List the card for a fixed price if you want a quick sale. Auction the card if you want to test the market's top price. Remember the platform fee.

What is the marketplace fee?

The fee is published on the platform's official help center and varies by region and currency.

Can I cancel a listing?

Yes, until a bid is placed. After a bid, the auction cannot be cancelled.

How long do auctions run?

The standard auction window is a few days. The exact duration is published on each listing.
