The card pool
Every Sorare card represents a real player in a real club. The card pool is therefore as deep as the football world. The pool is split by competition (Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga, and more) and by season.
Evaluating a player
The single best evaluation is the player's decisives-per-90 over the last full season. Add the player's expected minutes (a starter plays roughly 75 minutes per match) and the strength of upcoming fixtures. Avoid judging a player on a single match.
Scarcity vs. talent
Scarcity and talent are not the same. A Limited card of a Champions League starter is more valuable than a Unique card of a bench player. Always combine the rarity with the projected minutes. The most expensive card is not always the best card.
Rotation risk
The biggest single risk to a card's value is rotation. A starter who loses their place to a transfer or a younger player drops in price within weeks. Buy cards of players who are undisputed starters for their national team as well as their club.
Which league is the deepest?
Premier League has the largest card pool. La Liga and Ligue 1 follow. Smaller leagues have less depth but lower prices.
Should I buy young players?
Young players have upside but also rotation risk. A balanced card pool includes both young upside and established veterans.
How do I find undervalued cards?
Compare the player's decisives-per-90 to the card's auction reserve. Cards where decisives-per-90 is high but reserve is low are the undervalues.
